I keep a small yard of my hand chosen best so every spot here is precious. I do not have the time or the space to deal with mediocrity. ONLY THE BEST WILL DO! I started American Gamedog Kennels in 1996. My mission is, has been and will always be the preservation of the most versatile breed of dog on the planet, The American Pit Bull Terrier. A heart that no other breed can match. Determination that is unparalleled. I breed complete package dogs that excel in any legal venue they are introduced to. I have a long list of folks who have dogs from my kennels whom ended up with exactly what they wanted in a dog and more. Many of which I have formed good relationships with over the years. I breed all purpose dogs from the best specimens of my line. My dogs are known for powerful structures, intelligence and very high prey drives. W e are private kennel that will occasionally offer pups to the public. If I feel the fit would be right . H ere are just a few of the dogs from my Kennel. Occasionally a few others come through here but My personal dogs are The Eli x Bolio dogs. I have dealt with this line for many years now and my original dogs came from the man who was the source of the line before me. Under his years of direction, he has shown me the way to creating top notch athletes in every breeding I make, time and time again. A ll dogs here are family raised with children. Socialized by my own! Only the best specimens are bred here. I do not mass produce dogs and if you expect to get a pup from me then you may have to be patient as I keep most everything for myself and a few close people I associate with. I only do breeding’s when I have the space to keep from it. I do not breed dogs to supply others with them, however, occasionally I will let a few go if I have a larger than expected litter. A ll of my dogs are ADBA registered and I stand behind my breedings as to their authenticity as well as my paperwork’s accuracy. Puppies are wormed starting at 4 weeks of age in 3 day intervals, every other week until 10 weeks of age using Safeguard (Fenbendazole 10%). WE start DHLPP Vaccines at 8 weeks of age and repeat them at 12 & 16 weeks of age. I expect those who do get dogs from here to remain in contact with me occasionally as to how the dog is developing, photos etc. throughout the dogs life, this part is non negotiable. I use several reputable and reliable GROUND transports that ship anywhere in the U.S.A. For AIR transport I use Delta and international flights can be arranged as well through a very reputable personal transport I use. Shipping costs and fees associated with shipping I.E. Health certificates for air travel, crates etc. are a responsibility of the buyer. Please have a strategy for transport before trying to get a pup from me. M y dogs are not for beginners. They are very high maintenance, notoriously animal aggressive, highly active dogs that require a lot of attention and exercise daily. While you see many photos of my dogs with my children, keep in mind, I have been doing this for decades and both my children have been born and raised into handling these dogs. Books can only take you so far, Hands on training and mentoring is a far better teacher. L ike with any breed of dog, they have to be socialized with children. Both pup and child need to know what is and is not acceptable. These are very intelligent dogs that are very stable around kids. However, no dog, of any breed, should ever be left with children unsupervised. I WILL NOT SELL DOGS TO PEOPLE I DON’T FEEL WILL KEEP MY DOGS BEST INTERESTS IN MIND, ARE CAPABLE OF CONTAINING AND ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN PROPERLY RAISING THEM. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SALE TO ANYONE I DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING BUSINESS WITH. N O DOGS FROM MY KENNEL WERE PURCHASED, BRED, RAISED, OR SOLD FOR ANY ILLEGAL PURPOSES. ALL DOGS IN MY KENNEL ARE USED IN LEGAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CONFORMATION, WEIGHT PULL, OBEDIENCE, TREADMILL RACING, AND OTHER NON ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. I DO NOT OWN ANY DOG THAT WAS KNOWINGLY USED IN ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES BEFORE OR AFTER THEY WERE IN MY POSSESSION. I DO NOT CONDONE THE USE OF ANY DOGS IN ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES WHATSOEVER. DOG FIGHTING IS A FELONY IN ALL 50 STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, PUNISHABLE BY UP TO 5 YEARS IN PRISON, AND A FINE OF $250,000 DUE TO THE 2007 ANIMAL FIGHTING PROHIBITION ENFORCEMENT ACT. THE FEDERAL ANIMAL WELFARE ACT PROHIBITS THE INTERSTATE TRANSPORT OF DOGS FOR FIGHTING PURPOSES. THEREFORE, PARTICIPATING IN DOG FIGHTING ON ANY LEVEL CAN LEAD TO IMPRISONMENT.
